Chef Shiva Natarajan is the former owner and founder of several of the most popular Indian restaurants in NYC. He has been in this business for the past 18 years. Chola, Chote Nawab, Thelewal, Dhaba, Kokum, Haldi and many more are just a few of those highly rated restaurants. Through these restaurants, he has showcased Indian food from several regions of India. Sahib is one of the newest of those restaurants.
Shiva has also opened several successful thai restaurants, one of which was Little Thai Kitchen which was awarded 2 stars by New York TImes. His restaurants have been mentioned, rated and reviewed by NY Times, Zagat, Time Out and many others. Shiva and his restaurants have been featured by tv channels such as ABC, FOX, NBC and others.
From year 2015, Shiva sold these restaurants to Michelin star chef Hemant Mathur. Shiva is working towards his future projects such as writing a cookbook and starting new brand of his sauces.
